Burnside Lodge is a converted fishing house offering bed and breakfast accommodation, house parties and nature tours on a bespoke basis throughout the year. An informal coffee shop is open in the guest lounge during the summer months and is well supported by locals and visitors alike, with free coffee on offer for anyone who doesn’t see a seal!

Located on the Rhinns of Islay, Port Wemyss and it's sister village Portnahaven boast a traditional post office stores and one of the best pubs on the island; along with rapidly changing weather, sandy beaches, traffic free roads and an abundance of wildlife. The three rooms at Burnside Lodge all look towards the Island of Orsay and the Rhinns Lighthouse.
